Sandra Y. Duncan, retired real estate agent

Sandra Y. Duncan, 64, of Mardella Springs, Md., passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013.  Sandra was born in Whaleyville, Md.,  Dec. 10, 1949, to the late Quincey B. Blake and Irene P. Hammond Blake who survives him.

She worked as a real estate agent for Callaway Farnell and Moore for nine years before retiring.

Sandra was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith in Ellendale. She was a very family oriented person who loved her church, her family and her friends. Sandra volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. She loved sewing, quilting and painting and was a very stylish dresser.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 16 years, Alan T. Duncan of Mardella Springs, Md.; seven children, Robert Lee Leonard Jr. of Salisbury, Md., Rashonda Johnson of Alabama, Johnathan Wise of Virginia Beach, Va., Tyski Morris of Salisbury, Md., Brandon Hudson of Salisbury, Md., Josh Duncan and Tori Duncan both of Snow Hill, Md.;  a brother; Quincy D. Blake (Beverly) of Bishopville, Md.; four sisters, Patsy O. Blake of Wilmington, Starr F. Blake of Salisbury, Md., Cindy R. Rogers (Eugene) of Portsmouth, Va. and Valada R. Blake of Elkton, Md.; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service and celebration of her life will be held at noon, Saturday, Dec. 28, at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, 13325 N. Worcester Hwy, Bishopville, Md. where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Zoar Golden Acres.
