Bonnie Sue Williams, registered nurse

Bonnie Sue Prickett Williams, 64, of Millington, Md. died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at home.

Bonnie was born April 28, 1949, in Mount Holly, N.J., daughter of Doris Lucas Prickett and the late Franklin Simon Prickett. From 1967-70 she attended Beebe School of Nursing, obtaining her degree as a registered nurse. She began her career in nursing at Memorial Hospital in Easton, Md. and from 1973 thru 2004 with Beebe Healthcare in the recovery room and as a home health clinical supervisor. For several years she worked for Heron Point in Chestertown, Md. as the assisted living nurse manager. She had lived in Georgetown until moving to Millington in 2005. Bonnie enjoyed horseback riding, birddog field trials, surf fishing, traveling, shopping and antiquing.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Lawrence A. Williams; and her sons, Keith Allen Williams and David Franklin Williams.

Bonnie is survived by her mother, Doris Lucas Prickett of Sudlersville, Md.; two brothers, Thomas Prickett and Jim Prickett (Laura) both of Church Hill, Md.; two sisters, Patricia Greenwald of North Carolina and Terri Price (Floyd) of Galena, Md.; nieces and nephews, Cheryl Schrader, Angie Smith, Jessica Sheubrooks and Lacy Prickett; her godson Jason Price, Blaire Prickett; her goddaughters Morgan Price Austin and Sami Prickett; and 10 great-nieces and -nephews.

A private graveside service will be held in Union Cemetery, Georgetown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to Hospice of Queen Anne’s, 255 Comet Dr., Centreville, MD 21617, or Blood Bank of Delmarva, 100 Hygeia Dr., Newark, DE 19713.
