Ellen P. Stephens, 71, of Dagsboro, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013.

Born in Salisbury, Md., she was the daughter of the late William H. Jr. and Audrey (Morris) Powell of Princess Anne, Md. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Stephens, Feb. 10, 2013. Ellen is survived by two brothers, William H. Powell III of Salisbury, Md. and James Morris (Serena) Powell of Manassas, Va.; and nieces and nephews: Audra (Eric) Monk, Amber (Craig) Butler, John (Kendra) Powell and James (Kelli) Powell.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 15,  at 11 a. m. at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Road in Ocean View, where friends may call after 10:30 a.m.
