First Brew Master's Competition set Jan. 25

Brew River Restaurant & Bar and Dogfish Head Brewery are teaming up for a one-of-a-kind contest. The first Brew Master’s Competition will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 25, at Brew River in Salisbury, Md.

Participants are tasked with coming up with a new infusion idea for an existing Dogfish Head line. Submissions must include the name for the new creation, the ingredients the beer is to be infused with and the name of the Dogfish Head beer used. The competition is free to enter. Submissions are being accepted until one day prior to the event.

The winner will become an honorary guest at Dogfish Head for one day and receive a VIP tour of the brewery with 10 guests. The winning beer will be announced at the event and will be available for sampling during the Brew Master’s Competition. Dogfish Head will also have tastings available for its World Wide Stout Vertical. The winner must be present when announced.
