Philip A. Clark, former grand knight

Philip A. Clark , 58, of Lewes, passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Wilmington Hospital, Christiana Care Health Services. He was born in Boston, Mass. July 28, 1955, son of the late Arthur George Clark and Patricia J. McWeeny Clark who resides in Lewes. He was also preceded in death by his brother Matthew Clark.

Mr. Clark was a fourth degree grand knight at St. Paul's Church in Damascus, Md. where he also taught CCD with the RCI Program for many years, as well as a 3rd Order Dominican in Washington, D.C. His enjoyed photography and scuba diving.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Clark is survived by his brothers, Fr. Joseph Clark of Arlington, Va., Lawrence Clark of Severn, Md. and Edmund Clark and his wife Lauren of Boston; his sister Virginia Collins and husband Stephen of Rehoboth Beach; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m., at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach, with Fr. Joseph Clark celebrating. Friends may call Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 6-8 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where vigil prayers will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Burial will follow the Mass at All Saints' Cemetery, Beaver Dam Road, Harbeson.
