Peninsula Golf & Country Club wins national awards

January 22, 2014

The Peninsula Golf & Country Club has again won prestigious national awards. For the fourth time, Peninsula’s Golf Shop has been given the Association of Golf Merchandisers' 2013 Platinum Award for being one of the Top 100 Golf Shops. For the second year in a row, The Peninsula was named in the Top 50 Practice Ranges by the Golf Range Association.

“These two tributes are a source of great pride for Troon Privé, ValleyCrest, The Peninsula and all its associates, especially those in the Golf Department,” said Michael Neider, head golf professional. “It is a great honor to have your team’s excellence recognized by industry experts.”

The Peninsula, Delaware’s first private Jack Nicklaus signature course, had its grand opening in 2006 and has bounced back from the real estate crisis, welcoming 65 new resident members in 2013.
