CAMP Rehoboth Chorus show to highlight the '50s and '60s Feb. 8

January 21, 2014

The CAMP Rehoboth Chorus with David Zipse on piano, Dave Schiff on sax and clarinet, George Freeman on bass, Ken Schleiffer on drums and Rosann Mattei on electric guitar, adds up to an exciting musical experience.

Directed by Doug Yetter, the chorus will present two performances of "Oh What a Night…Back to the '50s and '60s" with a 2 p.m. matinee and a 7 p.m. show Saturday, Feb. 8. Both shows take place at Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach, and ASL interpretation will be provided.

The concert features many doo-wop, soft rock, early Motown, surf vocals and other hits popular in a bygone era by groundbreaking groups like The Jersey Boys, Danny and the Juniors, Fats Domino, the Chordettes, and the Mamas and the Papas.

Tickets are available for $20 through CAMP Rehoboth by calling 302-227-5620, or at camprehoboth.com. Last year’s concert was sold out before the doors opened, so reserve a seat soon.
