Coldwell Banker welcomes Debra Waters and Ruth Sivils

January 25, 2014

Coldwell Banker Resort Realty announces the recent addition of Debra Waters and Ruth Sivils to the firm’s Lewes Branch.

Waters is a native Delawarean and has been connected to this area since childhood. She decided to become a real estate professional upon selling her Tan Delights Tanning, Nail and Hair Salon business after 25 years. Selling has always been a passion of Waters' and the family business as well. Her mother, Mary, was a realtor for 40 years. Licensed since 2005, Waters has been active as a realtor and a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors Sussex County Chapter.

She is dedicated to bringing buyers and sellers together and has been very successful doing so. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, swimming, biking and skiing. She enjoys spending time with her husband, her family and her golden retriever on the beautiful beaches Sussex County has to offer.

“I am excited to join the Coldwell Banker brand. I look forward to implementing the numerous tools and technology that Coldwell Banker offers to promote my clients' interests,” said Waters.

Sivils is a Pennsylvania native. She relocated to Delaware in 2003 after living in Tombstone, Ariz.; Las Vegas, Nev.; and Tucson, Ariz. She has been a licensed realtor for 10 years and furthered her education and training, earning her associate broker designation in 2010. She has been recognized for her volunteer efforts by receiving both the Sussex County Association of Realtors and Delaware Association of Realtors Good Neighbor awards. She is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, having volunteered on three builds, and is now serving as crew leader for its newest project.

Sivils has been active with the Women’s Council of Realtors Sussex County Chapter since its inception in 2008 and is a past president. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Sussex County Association of Realtors. When not working, Sivils enjoys playing softball and fishing on the ocean. She has been married for 25 years and enjoys her five grandchildren and her two dogs.

“I look forward to working with Dolores Desmond and the entire Coldwell Banker team. Dolores has been a mentor and friend for many years,” said Sivils.

“I am very pleased that Debra and Ruth made the choice to join Coldwell Banker Resort Realty and our team of highly trained professionals. I know their real estate background and management experience will provide the groundwork for the dedication and commitment required to continue as top producing agents,” said Dolores Desmond, vice president and broker of record of the Lewes Branch.

Waters and Sivils are members of the National Association of Realtors, the Delaware Association of Realtors, the Sussex County Association of Realtors and the Women’s Council of Realtors Sussex County Chapter.
