Sussex Tech junior Kaila Muniz designs winning national SkillsUSA logo

Sussex Technical High School junior Kaila Muniz of Seaford was selected as a winner in the SkillsUSA Show Your Skills T-shirt logo design contest. Sponsored by E Group, the official provider of SkillsUSA merchandise, the contest was held to launch the opening of a brand-new student store scheduled for Feb. 9 during SkillsUSA Week.
The design will be made on T-shirts to sell in the SkillsUSA store during the National SkillsUSA Conference in Kansas City, Mo., in June.
Muniz was awarded an iPad mini tablet for her winning design. She is studying digital print design under the guidance of teacher Kelli Gehrke.
