Matt Haley Companies participating in winter sock drive

The Matt Haley Companies, owned by local chef/ restaurateur Matt Haley, has committed to participate in the United Way of Delaware's annual "Sock It To Me" winter sock drive. The drive has been running since January 13 and runs through February 13. The participation of the MHC comes on the heels of a second annual, and very successful, holiday coat drive organized through Haley's charity the Global Delaware Fund. "Last year several of the people I work with approached me with the idea of the coat drive." said Haley.  "They ran with it and did an awesome job, and were even more successful this year. When I heard about the United Way's Sock Drive it really struck me as a natural fit for us because of how well we did with the coats this holiday."

Donations of new, unopened socks will be accepted at all 7 of Haley's restaurants: Fish On, located in Lewes, Lupo di Mare, located in Rehoboth, Matt's Fish Camp & bluecoast seafood grill, located in North Bethany, Northeast Seafood Kitchen, located in West Bethany, and Papa Grande's & Catch 54, located in Fenwick Island. All 7 restaurants are open 7 days a week.
