Barbara Ann Cochran, Home Depot employee

Barbara Ann (Brounce) Cochran, 63 of Millsboro, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family Friday, Jan. 31, 2014.

Barbara was born in Charleroi, Pa. in 1950. She was a 1968 graduate of Gunning Bedford High School. She was employed by Home Depot for many years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, scrapbooking, photography and reading. She loved spending time with her family and especially with her grandson.

She was predeceased by her son, Gregory Hall; husband, Gary Hall; father Thomas M. Brounce; and brother, Gary Brounce. She is survived by her son Jeffrey Hall; daughter-in-law, Kristina Hall; grandson, Cody Hall; mother Fay (Rush) Brounce; brother Thomas R. Brounce (Carol); and sisters Connie Welsh (Jim), Jannie Sheets (Bruce), Patty Wallace (Wayne) and Susie Wiedmann (Luke); nieces and nephews; a host of extended family members and her special friend Gary.

A celebration of Barbara's life will be held Thursday, Feb. 6 at Melson's Funeral Home on Long Neck Road. Visitation will be held at 4 p.m., with a service at 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made toward her grandson's education fund; payable to Cody T. Hall in c/o M&T Bank, 31860 Long Neck Road, Long Neck, DE 19966.
