Cape wrestling beats unbeaten Milford 45-17

State duals next on agenda

There were four matches remaining in the upper weight classes with Cape ahead 21-17; the Bucs rolled out four forfeits in a row, and that was most emphatically that.


Milestones for Cape included Thomas Ott tying Chris Young with most career victories, 124. Austin Smith picked up career win 120, while Justin Lopez has 99 victories.


The state dual-meet championships are set for Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Smyrna High School. The Henlopen Conference Championships are Friday and Saturday, Feb. 14 and 15, at Milford High School.
