John S. Ballato Jr., Canalfront Park friend
John S. Ballato Jr., 69, of Lewes, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Barbara Ballato's residence in Pennsylvania.
John was born in Easton, Pa., Sept. 21, 1944, a son of the late Betty Borowski Ballato and John Sam Ballato Sr. He worked as an insurance agent at Turko Insurance Co., Allentown, Pa. Prior to that he was the sales manager at Daniels Cadillac. He was a member of the Masonic Greenleaf Lodge and a board member and past Volunteer of the Year at Lewes Canalfront Park.
John is survived by a daughter, Kimberley Ballato of Lafayette Hill, Pa.; a son, Michael, husband of Nicole Ballato of Mertztown, Pa.; two sisters, Janice Shellenberger of Bethlehem, Pa. and Nancy Ballato of Easton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Boyko Funeral Home.
