Keith Mack, Scandal to perform at Winter Gala

The stage is set for the Sixth Annual Dewey Beach Winter Gala on Saturday, Feb. 15, at The Baycenter in Dewey Beach.

The gala is a benefit for the town's public safety departments, including the Dewey Beach lifeguards and police, and the Dewey Beach Beautification Fund. Tickets are $85 each and available at

The event kick off at 8 p.m. with downstairs entertainment from Keith Mack and the Ed Shockley Band. Comfort Zone will perform upstairs from 8:15 to 9:45 p.m.  Headliner is Scandal, which will take the main stage at 10 p.m. Scandal features lead vocalist Patty Smyth and Mack, who is an original member of the band famous for its No 1 hit "The Warrior."  Local favorites Jimi Smooth & Hit Time will round out the evening's live music, performing from 11:50 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The gala will feature a host of specialty bars, food stations and a silent auction.
