Delawareans get help for health insurance sign-up through March 31

February 20, 2014

Information and enrollment sessions to aid Delawareans in navigating the Health Insurance Marketplace website will take place through Monday, March 31, the deadline for Americans to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. Delaware’s certified marketplace guides will be available to help people  enroll in a plan before March 31 to receive coverage in 2014.

Participants need to bring the following with them to the session: Social Security numbers of those applying for coverage; pay stubs, W-2 forms, or other information about family income; policy/member numbers for any current health coverage; and information about any job-related health coverage that’s available to the enrollee or family.

Those who cannot attend the sessions should go to www.ChooseHealthDE.com to contact marketplace guide organizations to schedule an appointment, or call the 24/7 helpline with questions at 1-800-318-2596, TTY: 1-855-889-4325.
