AMC Museum to hold Collector's Day March 29

The  Air Mobility Command Museum will host its Ninth Annual Collector's Day Saturday, March 29.

Over the years, participants in this free family event have shared collections of turn-of-the-century postcards, World War I uniforms, pocket watches, trench art, football memorabilia and sunflower jewelry. All Delmarva residents are encouraged to bring their favorite collection to the museum and share it for the day or just drop by and check out others' personal collections.

There will be prizes for best overall exhibit and most unusual collection. Setup starts at 7:30 a.m. and doors open at 9 a.m. Tear down comes at 2 p.m. No weapons or inappropriate material are allowed. Take Exit 91 off Delaware Route 1 and follow the signs. Address is 1301 Heritage Road.

Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Admission and parking are free and photography is welcome. Call 302-677-5938 for more information.
