Rev. MLK organization thanks community

February 24, 2014

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Organization-Sussex County would like to thank the Cape Gazette and the sponsors of the ad page in the Friday, Jan. 17-Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 edition. Your support is always greatly appreciated.

We also thank Sen. Ernie Lopez, Lewes Councilwoman Bonnie Osler, Lewes Mayor Jim Ford and Deputy Mayor Ted Becker, and the city of Lewes and all parade participants for your continued support and cooperation in the success of the annual parade. Even though the weather is not always agreeable, you, along with the Sussex County community show up to support the holiday activities.

Finally, we thank the Cape Henlopen School District and high school staff for your support of the Saturday banquet and Conley's U.M. Church for your support of the Monday holiday worship service.

President Clemon Jordan and members
