Teller Wines to hold 2014 Wine Expo March 29

Benefits The Culinary School at Food Bank of Delaware
March 1, 2014

Catherine and Kevin Hester, the owners of Teller Wines, paired their love of fine wines and food with a desire to give back to the community.

The result of that effort is the 2014 Wine Expo to be presented by Teller Wines from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 29, at the Lewes Yacht Club.

“This will benefit the Food Bank of Delaware, and The Culinary School in particular,” said Catherine Hester. “There seemed to be a logical association.”

“We are extremely excited to partner with Teller Wines for the 2014 Wine Expo. It will be a great opportunity to showcase the talents of our culinary students, as well as meet the loyal patrons and customers of the Teller Wines family,” said Chad Robinson, Food Bank of Delaware’s Milford branch director.

Guests will have the opportunity to taste more than 90 fine wines and also sample gourmet fare from Matt Haley’s Plate Catering, Nage, The Buttery, Touch of Italy, Annabella’s, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Patty’s of Georgetown and The Culinary School at the Food Bank of Delaware.

A silent auction and 50/50 will benefit Coastal Concerts.

Tickets at $70 each are now available by calling 302-644-7400; 150 tickets will be sold in advance only.
