Epworth dance to benefit Cape Region homeless

Organizational meeting set March 4 in Rehoboth
March 1, 2014

Local Realtor Amy Schrader has always felt that the people of Sussex County are very generous with their giving, both monetarily and physically. About two weeks ago, Schrader visited the Immanuel Shelter at Epworth Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach, and noted that there were 27 people there.

She has recently been taking classes at Landmark,, in Philadelphia, Pa. Her project for the current course is to hold a dance to raise money for a new homeless shelter in Rehoboth.

The plan is to assess the folks, get them training, and to have them become self-sufficient. The Immanuel Shelter Dance is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Epworth Church. Tickets will be $25 per person.

All those who want to be on the committee for this dance are asked to attend a meeting at Jack Lingo Inc. Realtor, 238 Rehoboth Ave., brick building, Rehoboth Beach, Tuesday, March 4, at 6:45 p.m. Contact Schrader at or 302-604-9833 for more details.
