Dover Air Force Base announces personnel reporting delays

March 3, 2014

Due to inclement weather, the installation commander at Dover Air Force Base has directed a three-hour delay in reporting for Monday March 3, for specified personnel.

Day shift emergency and MEL 1 personnel should report as scheduled. There is a three-hour delay from normal reporting time for MEL 2 and MEL 3 personnel, reporting no later than 11 a.m., unless otherwise determined by squadron commanders to perform mission essential duties. Commanders have the authority to temporarily designate MEL 1 personnel as MEL 2 and MEL 3 for this event, if not needed for current mission operations.

Personnel who are unsure of their status for reporting are to contact their supervisor or work area for further guidance. All personnel should remain alert to changing conditions and listen to the radio and television for up-to-date information.
