Valery Cordrey to present 'Exciting New and Underused Plants' March 22

Valery Cordrey will present “Exciting New and Underused Plants” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, March 22 at the Enrichment Center of East Coast Nursery, 30366 Cordrey Road, Millsboro.

The program will highlight the very latest plant varieties from breeders around the world. Cordrey will also discuss many great and underused plants in home interior and landscape areas.

Cordrey is co-owner of East Coast Garden Center, RSC Landscaping, The Cordrey Center, the Mary Jane and Richard Cordrey Enrichment Center, and The Secret Garden. She also works closely with Cordrey Charities and loves promoting the joys of gardening to those of all ages. Cordrey has a BS in business from the University of Delaware and is an active Master Gardener.  She shares her passion with the listeners of 92.7 WGMD through the radio show “The Potting Shed” from 9 to 10 a.m. every Saturday and daily at the garden center.

Attendance is free. There will be a drawing for a $50 gift certificate from East Coast Garden Center, eastcoastgardencenter.com.
