Curtis 'Kip' Crater, Del Tech graduate
It's a great sadness to announce the passing of Ava's beloved "Pop Pop at the beach."
Curtis "Kip" Crater, 59, of Ocean View, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.
Born Sept. 11, 1954, in Dover, N.J., he was the son of Clifford Crater and the late Marla (Smith) Crater of Seaford.
Kip graduated with honors from Delaware Technical Community College in Georgetown, where he received a bachelor's degree in human relations.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial service in Kip's honor at First Methodist Church on Blackwell Street in Dover, at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 6.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in his name to Delaware Technical Community College, 21179 College Drive, Georgetown, DE 19947.
