Ruth M. Bartley, 94, of Lewes passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood.
She was born March 21, 1919, in Wilmington, the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Hitchens) Minner.
She was employed at Beebe Clinic for many years.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Georgetown and past worthy matron.
She is survived by her daughters, Marcia Collins of Milford and Jane Coogler of Irmo, S.C.; a son, George Porter of Rehoboth Beach; two grandchildren, Sarah Graham of Frisco, Colo. and Elizabeth Hollinger of Philadelphia, Pa.; and one great-grandchild, Ellison Hollinger of Philadelphia.
Funeral Services will be at a later date. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Georgetown.
