Frances 'Frani' Baughman, immeasurable strength

March 5, 2014

Frances M. Baughman (Frani), 49, of Lewes, peacefully returned unto the Lord Monday, March 03, 2014, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.

She was born Nov, 19, 1964, in Delaware County, Pa., daughter of Thomas J. Brady and Frances M. McLaughlin Brady of Drexel Hill, Pa.

In addition to her parents, Frani is survived by her husband William J. Baughman; her son Bill Baughman of Denver, Colo.; her daughter Jacqlyn Baughman of Lewes; her brother Tommy Brady and wife Brenda of West Chester, Pa.; a sister Kristy Stiefel and husband Doug of Drexel Hill; and one grandson, Gabe.

In an unexpected chain of events beginning four weeks ago, Frani's breast cancer attacked her brain in an unprecedented fashion. With great sadness, we as a family decided to let Frani return home to Christ after her long and unbelievably courageous fight with cancer.

Over the past two years Frani's willingness to fight has been nothing short of amazing - as to be expected from a nothing short of amazing person. Her strength has been immeasurable; her courage unyielding and her tenacity indescribable; she would put superman to shame.

Although the sun now begins to set on Frani's earthly life, her joyful grace, unwavering compassion, unending kindness, relentless love and jubilant spirit radiates from within each of us whom she has touched.

This Earth has indeed shined brighter, laughed louder, and has fared much better with her presence. So too, heaven will shine brighter with her wonderful spirit.

We cannot describe the void, sadness and emptiness we as a family feel knowing we must live without her. With an unshakable faith in the power of Christ and his love, we will meet again in a better place.

We love you momma. We all love you!

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8, at 11 a.m., at Lewes Presbyterian Church, 133 Kings Highway, Lewes, with burial in the adjoining churchyard. Friends may call Friday, March 7, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes.
