John Parker Dukes VI, construction worker

John Parker Dukes VI, 32, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at the home of his parents in Lincoln.

He worked in construction. He loved riding motorcycles, playing his Playstation 4 (Grand Theft Auto), and loved to dance and listen to all types of music. During his life, he was fortunate enough to have been able to take a trip to Amsterdam.

He leaves to mourn his loss his parents, Joan and John Parker IV; two brothers, Harley H. Dukes (Dina Kosmider) and Jordan M. Dukes (Dawn R. Newhouse); one aunt, Ruth “Sissy” Tyrell; close friends Pam McLean, and Mark Jones and his girlfriend, Michelle Marker; and two nieces and two nephews. He will especially be missed by his “son" Raider, his Chihuahua pup.

There will be a service Saturday, March 8, at 3 p.m. at the Multicultural Church, 105 N.E. Front St., Milford, where friends may call two hours prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Bennie Smith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 691, Dover, DE 19903.
