Café Azafrán Lewes closes its doors, Rehoboth location remains open

Café Azafrán on Market Street in Lewes closed its doors March 9. The Steele family will continue to own and operate the Rehoboth Beach location. Café Azafrán opened in Lewes 11 years ago, featuring an intimate atmosphere with an array of healthy offerings for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Rehoboth Beach restaurant, open year round, is located at 18 Baltimore Ave, one block from the Boardwalk. For more information, call 302-227-8700 or go to www.cafeazafran.com.
According to a statement released by the Steele family, Azafrán's building will be taken over by the Gates family who plan to open a new restaurant.
