Albert E. Donovan, former Lewes employee
Albert E. Donovan, 68, of Lewes, passed away at home Monday, March 10, 2014.
He had worked for City of Lewes in the maintenance department through Fellowship Health Resources.
Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Preston E. and Alice G. (Burton) Donovan; and a sister, Elizabeth White.
He is survived by two sisters, June Donovan of Georgetown and Dorothy Cannon of Millsboro; and two brothers, Charles and Joseph Donovan, both of Georgetown; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 14, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St,, Georgetown, with visitation after 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Henlopen Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Meals on Wheels of Lewes and Rehoboth, 32409 Lewes-Georgetown Hwy., Lewes, DE 19958.
