Risky Business: Lewes-Rehoboth Rotarians discuss aggressive driving

"Are you a courteous driver or an aggressive one?" That was the question posed to Lewes-Rehoboth Rotarians by Alison Kirk, the community relations officer for the Delaware Office of Highway Safety.

Kirk listed the list of behaviors that defined aggressive driving, like texting, speeding, drinking, tailgating, sudden lane changes, running red lights and not using seat belts as strong predictors of future accidents.

“If it’s predictable, it’s preventable,” said Kirk about aggressive driving habits. She said her office is sending the message to drivers to be more courteous on the road by using turn signals, giving right of way and driving the speed limit.
