Lighthouse Dance & Yoga opens in Selbyville

The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes Lighthouse Dance and Yoga to the business community. Owner Tikiri Shapiro brings her experience and talent to the area in this large, open-air studio.

Lighthouse Dance & Yoga offers a variety of yoga classes, from Intro to Yoga to Vinyasa Flow, with classes in ballet and jazz as well. Classes cater to children and adults with special event classes. The space boasts a wall mirror, a barre and an upstairs dressing room, waiting and viewing area.

“I just couldn’t wait to open a studio,” said the 23-year old entrepreneur. “I love teaching, I love dancing, I love choreographing.” A graduate of George Mason University with a bachelor’s degree in dance, Shapiro moved to Seattle, Wash., after college, where she danced professionally.
