'The Voice' winner Cassadee Pope to give free concert June 1 at Dover Downs

March 28, 2014

Fans will be treated to a free concert from female vocalist Cassadee Pope leading into the Sunday, June 1 FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race in Victory Plaza. “The Voice” season three champ will also sing the national anthem to kick off the race at the Monster Mile.

Since winning the NBC hit show, Pope successfully debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums and in the top 10 on the all-genre Top Albums charts with her first solo album, "Frame by Frame," on Republic Nashville. With that, she became one of only two solo women in the past five years to top the country chart with a debut release.

NASCAR returns to Dover International Speedway May 30-June 1 for the June 1 FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, the May 31 NASCAR Nationwide Series race and the May 30 Lucas Oil 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.
