Sussex Tech Voice of Democracy winners named

Veterans of Foreign Wars, Sussex Memorial Post 7422, Millsboro, sponsored the annual Voice of Democracy essay contest at Sussex Tech. This year’s theme was "Why I’m Optimistic About America’s Future." The contest is sponsored to promote the ideals of democracy and citizenship in Delaware and throughout the country.

Sophomore Zach Varrato of Georgetown was this year’s winner. Second-place winner was Brittany Ritter of Millsboro, and third place was won by Summer Okoye, also of Millsboro.
