Georgetown Chamber to host Easter Egg Hunt April 19

The 14th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, organized by the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 19, at the Nutter Marvel Carriage Museum at 510 S. Bedford St. in Georgetown. The egg hunts for kids in various age categories (up to 12 years old) kick off at noon, and this year over 7,000 candy-filled eggs will be hidden on the museum grounds.

In addition to the free egg hunts, for $3 kids can enjoy unlimited bounces on the moon bounce, the clown magician, train rides on Georgetown’s ‘Lil Toot, and face painting. Pictures taken with the Easter Bunny are only $5. Great food and refreshments will also be available for purchase, as well as beautiful spring flowers.

Kids can also participate in the annual Coloring Contest. Go to www.georgetowncoc.com and download this year’s picture and start coloring. All entries must be received by Wednesday, April 16, to be judged, and all coloring champions will be recognized and awarded prizes at the Easter Egg Hunt.
