Salon La Roc moves to The Shops at the Cultured Pearl

After seven years at 310 Rehoboth Ave., Salon La Roc has moved across the street to the Shops at the Cultured Pearl.

Owner Peter DiRocco said his new location offers more space for the salon and its companion service, Oxygen Bar.

“We also like the idea of being amidst the kind of eclectic community that the Cultured Pearl and the other shops in that boutique offer," DiRocco said. “We just expect more people to know we’re out there.”

The new salon is 1,500 square feet, more than a third larger than the previous location.

DiRocco said Salon La Roc will also introduce new stylists John Mathues, Jeremy Ray and Stacey Williams.

“I am delighted to bring in these three stylists to add to and complement the great work of the existing staff,” DiRocco said.

The Oxygen Bar offers concentrated oxygen, a nonmedical service that helps reduce stress, increase energy and lessen the effects of hangovers and headaches, DiRocco said. Walk-ins are welcome for both Salon La Roc and the Oxygen Bar.
