Lighthouse Restaurant opens for 2014 spring/summer season

The award-winning Lighthouse Restaurant at the Lighthouse Cove Resort complex in Dewey Beach is now open. Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant will open later in April.

With their performance at the new, on-site Hyatt Place Hotel and their extensive hospitality experience, Meyer Jabara Hotels will assume operations of both the Lighthouse and Que Pasa restaurants effective immediately.

“We are thrilled to expand Meyer Jabara’s role at Lighthouse Cove to our award-winning Lighthouse and Que Pasa Restaurants, and we look forward to a stellar summer season serving our wonderful guests,” said E. Thomas Harvey III, president, Dewey Beach Enterprises, which owns the Lighthouse Cove Resort.

Meyer Jabara Hotels, an award-winning hospitality company that owns and operates premier hotels in 13 states, has operated the new Hyatt Place Hotel since its grand opening in September 2013.

The Lighthouse Cove Resort encompasses the Hyatt Place Hotel, penthouse and bayside residential condominiums, retail stores and restaurants, a future conference center, and an array of public amenities. The resort redevelopment project has created hundreds of construction and permanent jobs, and is helping Dewey Beach transition to a family-friendly 21st century year-round resort.
