William Stevenson Sr., auto shop owner

William D. “Bill” Stevenson Jr., 68, of Georgetown, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at home. He was the owner and operator of Bill Stevenson Auto Body in Georgetown for over 20 years. He had also served in the National Guard. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William D. Sr., and Sara (Short) Stevenson; and two brothers, Richard and Tom Stevenson.

He is survived by five children, Stacey Altemus, Lyn Bobiak, John Stevenson, Amber Stevenson, Justin Stevenson; nine grandchildren, Justin and Melanie Altemus, Stefan and Sara Bobiak, Jordan and Morgan Stevenson, August Newkirk, Mia Jackson and Layla Stevenson; three sisters, Katie Hedges, Ann Faucett and Jane Day; and a brother, Harry Stevenson.

Memorial service will be held privately.
