Explosion reported at Ridings at Rehoboth

Personnel from the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office are on the scene of a reported explosion at 30845 Park Terrace at the Ridings at Rehoboth off Beaver Dam Road in Lewes. The call was received at 2:43 p.m. April 17.

The Lewes Fire Department responded to the scene, where Schagrin Gas Company workers were found with very minor injuries and transported to Beebe.

State fire investigators reported that the incident occurred when the workers attempted to repair a PVC gas line.
