Frances M. Bachetti, traveled the world
Frances Marie Bachetti, 87, of Dover passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Hospice Center, Milford. Mrs. Bachetti was born July 3, 1926, in Wallington, N.J., to the late Nicholas Crystaline and Frances Marie Sraczynski Crystaline.
She was a devoted Air Force wife who traveled the world with her husband and their daughters. She worked as a waitress at the Hub Restaurant in Dover for many years. She was also a member of Walter L. Fox Unit 2 Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler, loved the beach and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. Bachetti in 2004; and her two sisters, Claire Hemley and Delores Roshinko. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Sellazzo and her husband Nicholas of Dover, Patricia Schneider and her husband John of Lewes, and Lenore Paradiso and her husband James of Milwaukee, Wis.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday and 11 a.m. to noon, Tuesday. Interment will be at 2 p.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
