Unit 28 honors middle school essay winners

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 28 recently presented Certificates of Appreciation and $25 gift certificates to the winners of the Americanism essay contest at Millsboro Middle School. The winners were from teacher Kristen Lowe’s seventh grade. The theme for the essay was, 'How Can I Show my Pride in Being an American?'

Winner Malachi Gibbs’ essay was forwarded to the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Delaware for further consideration at the state level.
