Lewes Board of Public Works meets April 23
The Lewes Board of Public Works will meet at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, at city hall. The directors will honor the efforts of outgoing Mayor Jim Ford and Director James N. Richmann, each of whom did not seek reelection. Directors will then have an open forum discussion on a nutrient trade proposal to the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control to use oyster aquaculture to meet the Lewes BPW NPDES permit requirements. Lewes to meet in executive session
Lewes Mayor and City Council will meet in executive session at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 23, at city hall.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss potential litigation relating to pending land development proposals. Following the executive session, council will return to open session for consideration or action on items discussed. For more information, call city hall at 302-645-7777.
Rehoboth committee to discuss website
The Rehoboth Beach Communications Committee will meet at 9 a.m., Friday, April 25, in the city commissioners’ room to discuss the ongoing city website overhaul.
In new business, the committee will discuss optimizing communications with the public at meetings.
The committee will also discuss its long-term objectives.
