Lewes Board of Public Works meets April 23

The Lewes Board of Pub­lic Works will meet at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, at city hall. The directors will honor the ef­forts of outgoing Mayor Jim Ford and Director James N. Richmann, each of whom did not seek re­election. Directors will then have an open forum discussion on a nutrient trade proposal to the Department of Natural Resourc­es and Environmental Control to use oyster aquaculture to meet the Lewes BPW NPDES permit requirements. Lewes to meet in executive session

Lewes Mayor and City Council will meet in executive session at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 23, at city hall.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss potential litigation relating to pending land devel­opment proposals. Following the executive session, council will return to open session for consideration or action on items discussed. For more information, call city hall at 302-645-7777.

Rehoboth committee to discuss website

The Rehoboth Beach Com­munications Committee will meet at 9 a.m., Friday, April 25, in the city commissioners’ room to discuss the ongoing city website overhaul.

In new business, the com­mittee will discuss optimizing communications with the public at meetings.

The committee will also dis­cuss its long-term objectives.
