Hilda T. Hall, former bookkeeper
Hilda T. Hall, 89, of Milford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and caregivers, Blaise and Kathleen Maurice, Sunday, April 20, 2014.
Mrs. Hall was born in Dagsboro to the late Harlon and Alice (Adkins) Hitchens. She was a bookkeeper for Young & Revel, and was a member of Milford Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jacob Toomey, husband Richard Hall, and brother, Hagon Hitchens.
She is survived by her sons, Jay Toomey, and Dennis Toomey and wife Norma, of Millsboro; sisters, Ann Stevens and husband John, and Geraldine "Gerry" Nordin, of Wilmington; grandchildren, Jay Toomey Jr. (Catherine), Tamara Bratten (Dan), Denise Short (Steve), Brian Toomey and great-grandchildren Christian, Jake, McNeil, and Dillon.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 24, in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after noon. Interment will be in Redmen's Cemetery, Dagsboro.
