Volunteers do a great job with park egg hunt

April 28, 2014

The Friends of the Lewes Canalfront Park would like to thank all the wonderful families who joined us for the 2nd annual Easter egg hunt in the park. We have the most amazing group of volunteers who help us put on these great events in the park that continue to serve and help build our community.

So a big thanks to Louise Pfarr, Bob Hyberg, Peter Issel, Georgia Tugend, Janet Sydnor, Debbie Burns, Beth Heid, Pam Sorce, Maureen Eschbach, Chelsea Fitzgerald and a fantastic group of teenagers who hid the eggs and painted 400 faces!

We can’t put on these events without the support of our sponsors! Thank you to ONI MRI, Kids Ketch, Washington’s Green Grocer, Kids Cottage, The Inn at Canal Square, Edie Bee’s and Mom’s Club of Coastal Delaware.

We have another big year planned for the park so please check us out online at www.lewescanalfrontpark.org

See you in the park!

Chair, Friends of the Canalfront Park
