Mary Ida Taylor, caring woman
Mary Ida Taylor, 82, of Millsboro has left a void in our hearts as she departed this life for our heavenly home Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover after suffering a short illness.
Mary was born a twin Dec. 24, 1931, in Millsboro, to the late Herbert and Florence Burton. Mary received her education in the Millsboro School District. She was a beautiful and caring woman who took pride in raising her 15 children including stepchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Jesus Love Temple Church, Milford, with a public viewing two hours prior. There will also be a public viewing 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 25, at Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Milford. Arrangements are being handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
