Millville By The Sea cuts Clubhouse ribbon

Inside the Lifestyle Center, the complex offers dozens of gathering spaces, including a large great room with a community kitchen, a pub, a game room, a fitness center, and a wellness studio. Decorated in vibrant, lively colors, it features coastal inspired accents not seen elsewhere - such as jelly-fish pendant lights and old-fashioned swimsuit shadow boxes - all designed to celebrate the unique history and natural attractions of the region. Millville By The Sea hosted a ribbon cutting April 26 to mark the opening of its showcase community amenity complex. The Lifestyle Center consists of a campus of coastal-style buildings which house a community clubhouse, a pool and pool house, a fitness center and a crab shack pavilion overlooking a six-acre lake.

“We are thrilled to be opening this beautiful amenity for our homeowners at Millville By The Sea,” said Chuck Ellison, project manager and vice president of Miller & Smith. “It is wonderful to celebrate this milestone with homeowners, business associates and representatives of the Town of Millville and the State of Delaware.”

The event, which was attended by over 400 people throughout the day, included a ribbon-cutting celebration, tours of the Lifestyle Center and a BBQ from Olde South Catering with musical entertainment from local favorites The Poole Brothers.

The Lifestyle Center is a 17,000-square-foot campus that has been designed for year-round enjoyment. Outside it includes a resort-style pool featuring a beach-entry, lap lanes, volleyball and basketball areas, splash zone features and a water walk as well as a tranquility zone, a crab shack with outdoor grilling area, several verandas, decks and covered porches, and a six-acre lake with walking trails and pier.

Homeowners, business associates and local dignitaries cut the ribbon to mark the opening of Millville By The Sea’s community amenity complex.
