Terry L. Lape, 71, of Lincoln passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at home.
Terry was born in Reading, Pa., the son of Rufus S. Lape and the late Kathryn (Clouser) Lape. He was a senior master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Milford Elks Lodge, Harrington Moose Lodge and the American Legion Post 28. He enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles and bowling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Dolores (Batari) Lape; children, Susan M. Bunting (James) of Lincoln and David Lape of Hazelton, Pa.; four stepchildren, Denise Wehrle (Darrin) of New Jersey, Harold Bower (Ingrid) of New Jersey, Daniel Bower (Janine) of New Jersey and Robert Bower (Landrea) of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kane and Desiree Lape, James Jr., Colin and Emily Bunting; stepgrandchildren, Danielle, Taylor and Alyssa Wehrle, Emily, Thomas, Daniel, Nicholas, Max, Charlie and Nola Bower; one great-grandson, Brandon Lape; sister, Bonnie Ressler; and brother, Galen Lape, both of Pennsylvania.
A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, April 26, at the Milford Elks Lodge, 18951 Elks Lodge Road, Milford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society , P.O.
