Rehoboth Beach Museum kicks off summer season, honors Ferrese May 17

Area residents are invited to join members of the Rehoboth Beach Historical Society as it kicks off the summer season with a canal-side party at the Rehoboth Beach Museum. The party will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, May 17, at the museum.

Guests will enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres, take a chance on winning raffle prizes, purchase plants for sale to fill in that last empty spot in a garden, and be part of the presentation of the Hall of Fame Award to Greg Ferrese, former city manager.

Tickets are $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event and are three for $5 or seven for $10. Raffle items include theater tickets, jewelry, and gift cards to local retail shops.

Make a reservation by phone with a credit card by calling 302-227-7310 or by dropping off payment at the museum. The museum is at 511 Rehoboth Ave. Parking is available, and the museum is handicapped accessible. Admission is by donation.
