We who live here know just how special Lewes is with its blend of glorious beaches, natural resources, small town values and history. I will be voting for my friend and neighbor Rob Morgan May 10 because I believe he has the vision, intelligence, fiscal acumen, energy, and desire to serve our lovely city as it addresses increasingly complex issues, including the effects of climate change and the tensions of increased development.
Since retiring and moving to Lewes full-time, Rob has taken every opportunity to get involved with all aspects of our wonderful community, from serving on the city's finance committee and planning commission, to serving on the board of directors of - and teaching at - Osher Lifelong Learning. He has knocked on doors and taken the opportunity to get to know all of Lewes' citizens. By both temperament and professional training, Rob is a thoughtful man who listens carefully and reaches decisions informed by his fundamental goodness and intelligence, and based on careful analysis of all relevant factors.
We will be well-served by Rob Morgan on city council. I hope you will join me in voting for him.
