The March of Dimes Delaware Chapter held its annual Walk for Babies May 3 on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk. More than 125 people comprised the family teams, company teams and people walking with friends to travel the two-mile route to raise approximately $25,000 for the March of Dimes.

The March of Dimes mission is to help moms have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of babies.

Shown prior to the walk are March of Dimes officials (l-r) Pam Armstrong, senior community director; Bridget Buckaloo, prenatal nurse instructor; Kathy Welden, community director; Carl Kanefsky, March of Dimes Delaware Chapter board member; and Aleks Casper, state director.
