Osler concerned about Lewes's future

May 9, 2014

Bonnie Osler should be re-elected to another term on the Lewes City Council.

As a council member for the past two years Bonnie has effectively worked to keep Lewes fiscally sound by supporting responsible budgets without tax increases and through planning for our future involving development, hiring a city planning consultant and annexation of Point Farm/Harbor Point.

Her engagement in core concerns of the residents of Lewes is evidenced by her work as council liaison to the city planning commission, scenic and historic byways committee and Lewes Unleashed.

In response to my community’s concerns on the impact of a proposed recreational facility on neighboring city-owned open-space, Bonnie not only kept us informed on the proposal through emails and phone calls she also visited our neighborhood to better understand our concerns first-hand.

Bonnie exemplifies three key qualities of good governance:  effectiveness, engagement and responsiveness.   She deserves another council term.
