Gallery 50 to exhibit members of The Artists’ Exchange May 9-20

May 7, 2014

Gallery 50 has announced an exhibit of a variety of mediums and works from eight members of the Sussex County-based The Artists’ Exchange group.

Eight members of The Artists’ Exchange, including Col. Victor Letonoff, Marti Marino, Lee Wayne Mills, Aina Nergaard-Nammack, Peggy Sampogna, Barbara Warden, Michael Krausz and Constance Constigan, will have works exhibited in a group show at the gallery May 9-20.

“This is an incredibly exciting show for us,” said Ed McGann, master framer and manager. “This is our first group show this year and we’re so proud to be offering such a wonderful mix of works from some of the best local artists in the community.”

The Artists’ Exchange group, over a decade old now, formed in 2000 by eleven local, accomplished artists. The members meet monthly to exchange ideas about art, critique each other’s work in progress, and plan future exhibitions together.

Opening night reception is Friday, May 9, from 6 to 8 p.m., and the show will run through May 20. The show will also be the highlight at Gallery 50 for Saturday, May 10 Second Saturday Art Walk from 6 to 9 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to attend opening night for an evening of art, wine and hors d’oeuvres and to meet the esteemed artists.
