Lock down lifted at Dover Air Force Base

A lock down at Dover Air Force Base has been lifted.

As a precautionary measure, base officials instructed all personnel to shelter in place after a suspicious person was reported on base about 11 a.m. May 8.

“The safety of our people is our top priority,” said Col. Randy Huiss, 436th Airlift Wing vice wing commander.
